Hello From The Workbench

Hello, I'm Liz! I'm more used to being behind the camera than in front of it, but I wanted to share a little bit about myself today. In case you're wondering, I'm the maker behind Starring You Jewelry -- the one behind all the designing, creating, packing, and chatting...plus more! Running an online shop can get pretty quiet, so feel free to reach out to me at any time. I love getting to know my customers.

Starring You Jewelry originally started as a mother-and-daughter run shop. In fact, my mom, Cecilia, was the one who founded it! Over time, I learned to make jewelry from her and fell in love with the craft as well. Unfortunately, she is no longer with us, but it makes me happy to see her creativity and joy live on through our jewelry. Here's a picture of my family when we were all together. :)

Family was really important to my mom and you can see it reflected in our jewelry. My mom wanted to make all of our jewelry as if it were for her own family, and that's something I think about with every piece I make. Our jewelry isn't fast fashion but meaningful pieces made with care and love. I know when our customers purchase from us, it's because they want the best for their loved ones, and I want nothing less than that for every package that leaves my workshop.

Can you tell I'm the oldest of three in my family? I think because of that, I've always been very family-oriented as well. When we're all together, I'm the one cooking and baking up a storm! 

Besides jewelry and family, I also love going on short runs, hiking with my boyfriend, indulging in sci-fi and mystery novels, and trying new foods. If you got this far, thanks for taking the time to read about me and Starring You Jewelry. :)
